All sections of the 1st Chapel Company meet at Chapel en le Frith Methodist Church on Monday evenings during term time.

The Anchors (5 to 7 years old) meet on Mondays 6.15 to 7.15pm at the Church. Activities centre round the subject headings of Body, Mind, Spirit, Community and Creativity. The uniform is a red sweatshirt, blue polo-shirt and dark trousers and shoes. After the Boys’ 8th Birthday they are promoted to the Juniors.

The Juniors (8 to 11 years old) meet on Mondays 6.15 to 7.45pm at the Church. The Juniors program covers five programme zones – Body, Mind, Spirit, Community and Creativity. Juniors is about:

• Having fun
• Making friends
• Enjoying lots of activities
• Trying new things

They also go on a weekend camp which is usually the highlight of the year. The Junior Section uniform is a Royal Blue sweatshirt blue polo-shirt, dark trousers and shoes and a BB hat. Half a term before they join Secondary School Juniors are promoted to the Company Section.

The Company Section (11 to 14 years old) meet on Mondays 7.30 to 9.30pm at the Church. Those in the Company Section take part in the Discover programme, that enables you to:

• Take part in a fun, balanced and challenging programme
• Be recognised for your effort and achievement
• Build trusting relationships

It's all about learning new skills, making your own decisions and having fun. BB provides a safe environment to explore new possibilities and achieve personal goals while making friends and having adventures. Within Discover there are 3 programme zones as follows:

• Community
• Recreation
• Skills

And it's up to each young person to work out which opportunities are relevant for them, whether it's improving football skills, podcasting or recycling.
Every young person should also expect:

• To experience new challenges
• To be listened to and have a say
• To be respected and valued
• To have fun
• To have the opportunity to develop a personal Christian faith

On his 15th Birthday a Company Section Boy becomes a Senior.

Seniors (15 to 18 years old) meet alongside the Company Section on Monday Nights 7.30 – 9.30pm. Seniors take part in the Challenge Plus programme, which is made up of Projects and Challenges as follows:

Projects

These include taster sessions that act as an introduction to a topic and are then followed by a longer project that is designed and led by the young people.
Projects are grouped into 3 programme zones:

• Community
• Life Skills
• Recreation & Leisure

Challenges

These are focussed on activities that could be completed by the group or as an individual ranging from 'Climb a Munro' to 'Review a local takeaway'.
There are also opportunities to work towards:

• The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award
• Young Volunteer Awards
• Queen's Badge

It's all about learning new skills, making your own decisions and having fun. BB provides a safe environment to explore new possibilities and achieve personal goals while making friends and having adventures. And it's up to each young person to work out which opportunities are relevant for them, whether it's sports officiating, fundraising or DIY.

The Company and Senior Sections wear a blue Boys’ Brigade shirt with Boys’ Brigade tie, dark trousers and shoes, BB belt and hat.
